I'm totally obsessed with India for the moment. Academically, India's been popping up everywhere. Also I went to Slum Dog Millionaire last night, which has kept India on my mind. I think I'd like to live there at some point in my life.

The Barnes and Noble by my house is closing, seeing the shelves empty was very sad. Books are sort of special so their absence is jarring.

On the other hand, everything was 50% off and I had a gift certificate! I got 3 books on astrology, one on reducing clutter and another on art history all for $20.
